Taliesin's journey on the path of the paranormal and the occult started at an early age. While his age was still in single digits, he developed a taste for classic horror films (Lugosi's Dracula, Karloff's Frankenstein, etc), and this prompted his parents to buy him a book of "real" ghost stories for his ninth birthday (it was really a potboiler book filled with urban legends and local folklore, but there was nothing to prove that the stories weren't really "true", so...). After reading the book through once, Taliesin's attitude was "forget the movies, I want the real stuff!!!" What was an interest became a hobby, which them became a life's passion.

Taliesin studied a series of paranormal/occult topics throughout his teen years, ranging from spirit communication to UFO's, and from poltergeists to mythic creatures. He was also studying the ancient art of ceremonial magick all this time as well. However, his studies weren't enough for him...he needed a spiritual focus as well. This last gap in his studies was filled when he discovered modern Witchcraft at the age of 17. A bried period of study lead to him dedicating himself to the path of Wicca, where he worked as a solitary, honing his Craft, for the next five years. His entrance into the local Neo-Pagan community eventually lead to his first coven, where he eventually received his first initiation. He then found his way to Celtic Traditional Wicca, and currently runs a coven with his wife and High Priestess, Willowe.

Taliesin has presented workshops for a variety of events and groups, including the Starwood Festival, the Wiccan Study Group of Akron, the Canton Area Pagans Witches Ball, amongst others. He has also lead church services for three area Unitarian Universalists Churches/Associations, and was a principal liturgist for the Gaia Awareness Gathering from 1992 until 1996. He's also a dedicated humourist, author of the now-infamous original set of redneck Pagan jokes, as well as former humour-columnist for "The Witches Brew" magazine. He is also a free-lance writer, author of a series of probing essays on Modern Wicca recently published in a collection called "In My Own Hand Of Write", as well as a forthcoming book on Traditional Wicca for solitaries.
